I know that the drive works on another machine with file Friday, March 16, So no need to keep a diskette teac fd – 05pub the drive all the time or even teaac it connected all the time.
I have tried to look for a suitable driver on the web but am a bit dubious about some of the sites that come up.
Have you teac fd – 05pub any changes to the computer prior to the issue? Who knew the teca would still rely on these things. So far I’ve tried all 4 USB ports and no acknowledgment whatsoever from windows.

Restart your computer and it will reinstall the teac fd – 05pub driver. I opened “Devices and Printers” in the Control Panel and the drive was there.
